Placement Guideline: To ensure proper ventilation and operation, allow for an extra 1/2-inch of clearance on the sides and top, and 1-inch at the rear. The unit requires a standard 120V/15A electrical outlet and a cold water connection for the ice maker. The overall dimensions are 32-5/8" W x 70" H x 33-3/8" D. As a standard-depth unit, it will protrude slightly beyond 24-inch deep cabinetry. Ensure you have 62 inches of depth clearance to allow the refrigerator door to swing open 90°.
This Whirlpool model offers a generous 22 cu. ft. total capacity, split between a 16 cu. ft. refrigerator section and a 6 cu. ft. freezer drawer. The interior is highly customizable with five SpillGuard™ glass shelves (including four adjustable half-width shelves) designed to contain leaks for easy cleanup. Door storage is equally flexible with six bins, five of which are adjustable to accommodate gallon-sized containers.
Cooling Performance & Preservation
The WRB322DMBB is engineered for efficiency and food longevity. It utilizes the Accu-Chill™ Temperature Management System, which employs internal sensors to monitor the climate and activates the compressor only when necessary to maintain precise cooling. The Adaptive Defrost feature further enhances efficiency by monitoring compressor run-time and door openings, running the defrost cycle only when needed to prevent freezer burn and save energy.
Note: For fresh produce enthusiasts, the FreshFlow™ Produce Preserver is a standout feature. It uses a specialized filter to absorb ethylene gas—the gas that causes fruits and vegetables to over-ripen. This system can extend the freshness of your produce by up to four days. To maintain peak performance, the filter should be replaced every six months.
