The Whirlpool WED5620HW is an ENERGY STAR certified front-load electric dryer that fits large family loads into a closet-depth frame. It features a high-volume 7.4 cu. ft. powder-coated drum, making it a powerful match for bulky bedding or massive laundry days. Its ADA-compliant design and flexible four-way venting options allow for easy installation in stackable configurations or tight utility rooms.
Intuitive Performance & Fabric Safety
This model simplifies laundry with an electronic touchpad that helps you select the right care for every load via 36 different cycle combinations. To prevent over-drying, Advanced Moisture Sensing uses three separate sensors to monitor temperature and dampness, stopping the cycle exactly when clothes are ready. Internal quad baffles ensure smaller items tumble freely and dry evenly, while the EcoBoost™ setting balances heat and cycle time to maximize energy efficiency.
Note: If you are delayed in unloading, the Wrinkle Shield™ option provides up to 150 minutes of intermittent tumbling to keep fabrics smooth. The unit also includes a dedicated Sanitize cycle to eliminate common bacteria and an audible end-of-cycle signal to let you know when the job is done.
