Placement Guideline: This dishwasher is designed to fit a standard 24-inch wide cabinet cutout. The unit measures 23-9/16" W x 34" H x 21-3/4" D. It requires a standard 120V electrical outlet and a water supply line within 6 feet of the hookup location. Because it is a drawer-style appliance, the top drawer is ergonomically positioned at a height that minimizes bending, while the lower drawer provides extra capacity for larger households.

This model is built with a dual-drawer configuration that operates using a variable speed BLDC motor and a 503-watt Calrod heater. While the unit provides a generous capacity for 14 place settings across both drawers, it maintains a compact footprint that integrates seamlessly with kitchen cabinetry. Each drawer contains its own rack system with adjustable elements to accommodate various dish sizes and two removable silverware baskets.

The Café CDD420P2TS1 offers a versatile cleaning experience through six specialized wash cycles and three performance options, including a Sanitize setting and a Fast Dry mode. The independent drawer system allows you to run a heavily soiled load in one drawer while simultaneously running a delicate cycle or a water-saving Eco-Cycle in the other. For small households, the Small Load setting ensures resource efficiency by optimizing water and energy use for partial loads.

User convenience is prioritized through a unique knock-to-pause feature, which allows you to pause a cycle simply by knocking on the front panel, a useful tool for adding a forgotten dish mid-cycle. Safety is managed by an active flood protection sensor that can detect water leaks, automatically cancel the cycle, and alert you with an audible tone and flashing lights. 

To ensure a quiet kitchen environment, the dishwasher operates at 46 dBA when using a single drawer and stays at a quiet 49 dBA when both drawers are in use. The top-control design keeps the interface hidden for a clean, professional aesthetic, and the appliance is compatible with customizable handle finishes to match the rest of the Café series.
