The Whirlpool WGD5010LW is a full-sized gas dryer finished in classic white, offering a versatile 7.0 cu. ft. capacity. This model is designed to handle the daily laundry demands of a standard household while providing a unique ergonomic benefit: the hamper door. By dropping down rather than swinging out, it prevents clean clothes from accidentally hitting the floor during transfer. Inside, an interior drum light provides high visibility so you don't leave any small items behind.
Intelligent Sensors & Fabric Care
To save you from the "crispy" texture of over-dried clothes, this unit is equipped with Moisture Sensing technology. Two internal sensors monitor both the moisture levels and the air temperature, automatically ending the cycle the moment the fabrics are dry. This gas-powered model is driven by a 22,000 BTU burner, providing the intense, efficient heat necessary to handle bulky loads or heavy towels across its 11 distinct dryer programs.
Note: For those who can't always get to the dryer the second the buzzer sounds, the Wrinkle Shield™ option is a lifesaver—it provides intermittent tumbling for up to 2.5 hours after the cycle ends to keep creases at bay. You also have access to a Quick Dry cycle for urgent outfits and an Air Only setting for refreshing items that shouldn't be exposed to high heat.
