Installation Guideline: This cooktop requires a standard 30-inch wide base cabinet. The necessary cutout dimensions are 28-1/2" W x 19-5/8" D. For safety, ensure a minimum 12-inch clearance to any side wall and 2-7/8" to the rear wall. It requires a 120V/5A electrical connection (the junction box should be located at least 16" below the countertop) and a standard 1/2-inch gas supply line.

The GE Profile PGP7030SLSS features heavy-duty, edge-to-edge continuous grates made of matte-cast iron. This design allows you to easily slide heavy pots and pans across the entire surface without lifting them. The grates are specifically engineered to be dishwasher-safe, simplifying the cleanup process. The cooktop utilizes a MAX burner system, which ensures the burners provide the same maximum BTU output regardless of whether you are using natural gas or liquid propane (LP conversion kit included).

Cooking Performance & Features

This 5-burner system is anchored by a powerful 18,000 BTU Power Boil tri-ring burner, which accelerates boiling times for large pots. For more controlled tasks, the Precise Simmer burner (5,000 BTU) provides low, even heat to prevent scorching delicate sauces or melting chocolate.

Note: For enhanced safety and style, the heavy-duty control knobs feature white LED backlighting, which provides a visual cue when a burner is in use and adds a modern aesthetic to the kitchen. While a griddle is not included, this model is compatible with the JXGRIDL230 extra-large integrated griddle (sold separately), which fits perfectly over the burners. This unit is ADA Compliant and designed for easy operation.
