Our Story
In 1994, Mark Bradley opened Mark’s Appliance in Edwardsville, IL with the aim of creating a one-stop shop experience to solve any customers’ appliance needs, whether that customer is looking for new appliance sales, appliance parts, or appliance service. Since then, we’ve added a location in Jerseyville, IL to extend our business to Jersey, Calhoun, Greene, and Macoupin counties.
Since 1994, we’re proud to staff our own delivery crews and service technicians, who perform all of our appliance installation and delivery services, and our appliance service and repair work. We are certified warranty service partners with each brand we sell. Plus, we offer our own in-house extended service plans that offer extra peace of mind with your appliance purchase.
It was also Mark’s philosophy to always beat the competition’s prices. Quality local service should not come at a higher price, which is why we promise to always be your best deal when shopping for new appliances. No matter how big or small, we want you as our customer.
At Mark’s Appliance, we believe in offering our customers the most dependable, quality brands on the market. From mainstream brands, such as Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid and GE Appliances, to more luxury brands like Speed Queen, SubZero, True Residential, and Jenn-Air, we offer brands with reputable performance and service backgrounds. With over 40 high-performing appliance brands to choose from, our vast selection gives our customer more choices to find the perfect appliance for their home.
Today, Mark is joined by his son Drew Bradley in the family business, and together, we’d like to welcome your family into our stores.
No matter how big or small, builder, home owner or apartment manager, we want you as our customer. Our philosophy is to give you the very best deal over anyone else. Dare to compare - if we're not already your best deal, we promise to beat your best deal. Plus we'll donate a portion of the proceeds to the local D.A.R.E. program.
What is D.A.R.E.?
The Edwardsville Police D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) Program was established in the spring of 1990, including a total of eight schools in the Edwardsville School District #7. This included both public and private schools, with a total student involvement of approximately four hundred twenty sixth grade students. Participating schools in the program included N.O. Nelson, LeClaire, Columbus, Glen Carbon, Worden, St. Boniface, St. Mary's, and Trinity Lutheran School.
The Edwardsville City Police Department is responsible for the instruction of the D.A.R.E. Program throughout the District and is the primary financial support for the program. Donations from private individuals, business, and civic organizations are used for the promotional materials which enhance the program and are given to the students in the program throughout the year. These donations are also used for sponsoring special events for the D.A.R.E. students during the year, at no cost to the students.
The Edwardsville Police D.A.R.E. program also offers the National D.A.R.E. Parent program. This four part series was designed to provide parenting skills, building a child's self esteem, recognizing media influences, and developing support systems.
How We Participate
We donate a portion of our proceeds to the D.A.R.E. program and present our donation at the Edwardsville DARE Car Show. Dare to Compare at Mark's Appliance: if we're not already your best deal, we promise to beat your best deal.
We also sell quality used appliances.
